**"Chaparral has long been used as a blood purifier. It contains an antioxidant known as NDGA. It cleanses and tones the liver, blood, and lymphatics, making it useful for parasites, bacterial infections, viruses, heavy metal toxicity, drug withdrawal, and radiation. Warnings: Potentially hepatotoxic, although the evidence is circumstantial and may be due to taking the plant in capsules instead of its traditional form as a tea. Nevertheless, it is contraindicated in kidney disease, liver disease, and pregnancy. Chaparral has a strong action on the kidneys so it should be taken with plenty of water to protect the kidneys." *"Chapparal was widely used in the US in the 1960s as a beneficial remedy for rheumatic disease, venereal infections, urinary infections, and certain types of cancer, especially leukemia.  It was also taken internally for skin afflictions such as acne and eczema.  In the early 1990s chaparral was banned in the US and Britain over its concerns with potentially toxic effects on the liver.  It now seems likely that this is another herb that, in rare cases, causes liver damage, as with some conventional medicines.  Given any uncertainty about its safety, any potential benefit from taking the herb must be weighed against the risks."

Ingredients: Chaparral (Larrea tridentata), grain ethanol menstruum, distilled water.

Properties: Alterative (blood purifier), antibacterial, antioxidant, antiparasitic, antiseptic, a bitter, anthelminthic (acting to expel or destroy parasitic intestinal worms)
