Our lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is grown and harvested right here in the His Hands Apothecary gardens. Our plants are grown without pesticides, carefully harvested, dried, and packaged for use as a fresh, aromatic herbal infusion.
From our garden to your cup, this is one of our favorite herbs for slowing down and unwinding at the end of the day.

A Gentle Everyday Herbal Tea
A member of the mint family, lemon balm has a mild, smooth flavor with a naturally fresh lemon aroma. It can be enjoyed on its own or with a little honey or your favorite sweetener.
 
How to Make a Hot Herbal Infusion
 
Directions
Place 1–3 tablespoons of dried lemon balm into a tea strainer in your mug or teapot.
Heat fresh water just to a boil.
Pour the hot water over the herbs and cover to help retain the herb's naturally aromatic compounds.
Steep for 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your desired strength.
Strain and enjoy.
 
A longer steep produces a stronger herbal infusion and may result in a more robust or slightly bitter flavor.
