Liquid Herbal Tincture

Artemisia annua is a popular remedy in parts of Africa for Malaria.  It is a close relative of wormwood and is used for several bacterial infections and is a very good remedy for intestinal parasites.  
 
Ingredients: Sweet Annie (Artemisia annua) dried leaves/flowers, grain ethanol menstruum, distilled water.
 
Properties: Anthelminthic, antibacterial, antiparasitic, and antiseptic.
 
Do not use when pregnant or nursing. 
 
Place a few drops of this tincture under your tongue or in your favorite beverage.  A common side effect of placing drops directly on or under your tongue is a burning sensation.  If this method is too strong for you, reduce the dosage or discontinue using this method. 
If you are new to herbal medicine, start slowly and work up to the dosage that works best for you.
